The movie invention of lying is directed, written and produced Matthew Robinson and Ricky Gervais and the best thing is that Gervais is playing the leading role of Mark Bellison in the film. Film is about the fantasy of lying. In this world everyone tells the truth no matter how painful it may be. Movie is about Mark who is an unsuccessful person and is not enough smart to grab the attention of her girlfriend.
Suddenly he discover the ability of lying and getting success in every filed of life. He gets job, gains money and become more popular as much as before only by telling a lie, even that he is getting the attention of the girl, who he has been unable to grab due to his ugly looks. Now she is happy with him without any hesitation. The movie reminds the audience that, he cannot change his genetic structure and will always be short and fat.

During watching the movie audience will realize that, how Mark bring change in his life only by telling a lie , He feels happy and gets everything he wants. This throws the light on the materialistic nature of the society. We should love people for what they really are.
When Mark experiences her mother’s death then he realize the importance of true relations.
It does not matter what our physical appearance is and how we look like, what really means is the feelings. All people have same feelings during grief and joy. He realizes that having fast car, girlfriend are totally priceless. I personally like the movie. It has complete drama with light comedy that dares to think big. The thing I like most is the moral to believe in your strengths and never depends on others. You must identify your abilities and then grow with these abilities.
