A serious man is a comedy movie and is about the ordinary man who searches for the clarity in the universe. Larry Gopnik (Michael Stuhlbarg) who is a physics professor in Midwestern University. He gets shock when her wife wanted to leave her due to fall in love with another man. She feels quite happy with his boyfriend Sy Ableman (Fred Melamed) than his husband Larry. Larry’s brother is unemployable named Arthur (Richard Kind) and his son is suffering from the discipline problem and not taking interest at Hebrew school and his daughter Sarah (Jessica McManus) steals money from his wallet to save her job.

His wife and her boyfriend make plans for new arrangements and his brother becomes more burden. More tension risen up in his life, when he received a unknown letter for the chances of Larry’s torment at the university and a student of graduation offer him bribe for passing grade and also threatened him for insult.
A Serious Man is a personal and spiritual production. However their different approach not yells action and everyone in the cast is prepared to deliver their lines.
