The informant movie was released on 18 September 2009. It’s a kind of comedy movie and is directed by Steven Soderbergh, written by Scott Z Burns. Movie is full of drama, thrill and comedy. Cast includes Matt Damon, Joel McHale, Scott Bakula and Melanie Lynskey. Director Steven Soderbergh has made such good movies like Out of Sight and Ocean Eleven. Now he is in the lime line with the movie Informant. It generated
$ 29,847,434 revenue at box office and still getting good response from the audience.

Movie is based on a real story about a star Mark Whitacre, who is in agri-industry giant Archer Daniels Midland, and suddenly became FBI information agent in a price-fixing conspiracy investigation. Whitacre imagine him as hailed as hero of layman and get promotion. Before happening this FBI wants proof, so Whitacre ready to wear a wire and carry a hidden tape recorder as proof and thinks that he is a secret agent.

Unluckily FBI witness has not helpful to corporate coffers. Whitacre’s altering account frustrates the agents and threatens the case against ADM. And it is going impossible to differentiate between the real and unreal product of Whitacre’s confusing situation. This is a real story, in US history of highest ranking corporate.

Damon acted so well and Melanie Lynskey as Demon’s wife and Scott Bakula as an FBI agent and other supporting cast performed so well. I personally liked the movie.

Movie 500 Days of Summer was released on 17 July 2009. It is directed by Marc Webb, written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H.Weber and produced by Mason Novick, Jessica Tuchinsky, Mark Waters and Steven J. Wolfe .It a comedy romantic movie and starring Zooey Deschanel, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Clark Gregg, Minka Kelly. The movie did good business at box office and generated $32,118,648 revenue.Runtime of the movie is 95 minutes.

Name of the movie Summer refers a girl who spends 500 days to love-struck man, Tom from New Jersey. Tom thinks that Summer is his soulmate, when they meet in a greeting card company. Their emotions grow, summarized and diminished. Their relation breaks up because Tom believes in love and fate but she doesn’t. In movie the couple looks so cute, their memorable visits is to Ikea, where they talk about family life together, and visit model kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room and the most beautiful office building 1893 Bradbury Building in Loss Angeles.

Summer and Tom could never be happy with each other as they think about each other. The story of the movie revolves around Summer and Tom. They both love 80’s indie band. For me 500 Days of Summer never encourage, despite the magic of the leads. I rated it in the average movies. All the actors portrayed their role with full justice and devotion.

Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs was released on 18 September 2009. It a children movie and directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord. It generated $ 95,778,436 at box office. Cast includes Bill Hader – Voice of Flint Lockwood, Anna Faris – Voice of Sam Sparks, James Caan – Voice Tim Lockwood, Bruce Campbell – Voice of Mayor Shelbourne and Andy Samberg – Voice of Brent.

This is Hollywood animated movie in which, the geeky inventor who saves his fishing port by developing a machine that create foods of different types from the clouds in form of rain. Pizza, ice cream and other food falls from the sky and Flint love the weather reporter Sam Sparks. The weather girl helps the hero, when things are going wrong on the earth.

The town looks like a British city. This theme of the movie is just about the fantasy. Movie running time is 90 minutes. Move can take adults in their childhood memories and getting good response from the kids as well.

Cast includes Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, and Boris Kodjoe. Surrogate is full of entertainment and a gift for the science-fiction lovers with vital concepts.

Surrogates come with the director Jonathan Mostow who has already directed Terminator 3 and Rise of Machines. So audiences are quite familiar with his name. Surrogates don’t have much action scenes, but Mostow make every scene clear, so the audience can distinguish easily what is going on.

Couples retreat was released on 9 October 2009. It is a romantic comedy movie, starring Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Kristen David and Faizon, directed by Peter Billingsley. The movie generated revenue at box office $35,340,000. It is an average movie and all credit goes to the actors, whose performances bring up it to certain success. There was not tough competition, as Zombieland and Whip It had moved to an earlier week.

An old saying of Hollywood “Women won’t go sees a comedy in which a man cheats on his wife”, so it targets certain group of audience. The story revolves around four couples who go together to an island, to participate in a relationship-building seminar. Jason and Cynthia (Jason Bateman and Kristen Bell) bind up their marriage relationship up to eight years. And now they are there to resort, as their last chance to hold it together. Shane (Faizon Love) is there, for dating woman half of his age Trudy (Kali Hawk). Joey and Lucky (Jon Favreau and Kristen Davis) are not happy with each other but they have to be together for the sake of their teenage daughter. The fourth couple Dave and Ronnie (Vince Vaughn and Milan Akerman), they think that they are happy together but they realize that their life is not empty with problem.

Couples Retreat is not one of the block buster movies but getting average response from the audience. All the actors performed brilliantly and get good response from the spectators. Supporting actors also performed so well.

There is need to realize that why these marriages are in problem. We should identify the main problem and then solve it. There is no any problem that cannot be fixed, so we must focuses on the solutions. The movie did not go well and not getting the emotional impact it’s expecting for. If there were not such good cast then this movie may be rank the worst movie of the year.

The movie invention of lying is directed, written and produced Matthew Robinson and Ricky Gervais and the best thing is that Gervais is playing the leading role of Mark Bellison in the film. Film is about the fantasy of lying. In this world everyone tells the truth no matter how painful it may be. Movie is about Mark who is an unsuccessful person and is not enough smart to grab the attention of her girlfriend.

Suddenly he discover the ability of lying and getting success in every filed of life. He gets job, gains money and become more popular as much as before only by telling a lie, even that he is getting the attention of the girl, who he has been unable to grab due to his ugly looks. Now she is happy with him without any hesitation. The movie reminds the audience that, he cannot change his genetic structure and will always be short and fat.

During watching the movie audience will realize that, how Mark bring change in his life only by telling a lie , He feels happy and gets everything he wants. This throws the light on the materialistic nature of the society. We should love people for what they really are.
When Mark experiences her mother’s death then he realize the importance of true relations.

It does not matter what our physical appearance is and how we look like, what really means is the feelings. All people have same feelings during grief and joy. He realizes that having fast car, girlfriend are totally priceless. I personally like the movie. It has complete drama with light comedy that dares to think big. The thing I like most is the moral to believe in your strengths and never depends on others. You must identify your abilities and then grow with these abilities.

Love happens is written and directed by Brandon Camp. The castes include Jennifer Aniston, Aaron Eckhart and Martin Sheen. It’s just a boring romantic drama. But it’s the latest movie of the Jennifer Aniston and she is not playing the main character of the movie. In movie the most dominant character is Aaron Eckhart who plays the role of Burke in film. He played the role of grief guru. He becomes guru, after the death of his wife three years earlier. He is an author and his self-help book became the best seller. So Lane Burke’s agent arranged a nation tour, which has after three years returned him to his hometown.

After returing to hometown his loss starts healing due to the new relationship with beautiful Eloise (Jennifer Aniston) and with his Father-in- laws .Burke has been avoiding his in- laws due to lessen the pain of loss. After three years helping other, he realize that how to keep himself happy.Their relationship grow slowly but predictably. Aniston is the owner of a flower shop. She met with Burke in Seattle during lecture.

Aniston and Burke both decided that they should forget the past and try to live in the future. The turn comes in the life of Burke when he meets with Aniston. She completely changes his life. But I would say that the writer balanced the story beautifully with tragedy and love.

Whip It was released on 2nd October 2009. It is a comedy based movie and directed by Drew Barrymore. It is running successfully in the theaters and generated $ 4,650,812 revenue at box office. Starring Ellen Page, Marcia Gay Harden, Kristen Wlig, Drew Barrymore. All stars performed very well and portrayed their character with full devotion.

The story is taken from a novel written by Shauna Cross. She is famous as a writer and wrote many screenplays.

In the movie the Ellen Page gives another excellent performance. She stars as Bliss who live in a small town of Borden, Texas with her mother Brooke her father Earl and her sister Shania. She works in a cafe with her best friend Pash throughout the day. Brooke wanted that her daughter must win the local Miss Blue Bonnet Pageant. But bliss life changes when she knows near Austin, girls power at rowdy Hurl scout roller derby match is going to take place. She finds new opportunity for her life and wanted to avail it. Bliss has to face lots of challenges to make her own way in the world.

Zombieland is getting good response from the people and it generates $ 25 million revenue on its first weekend. It’s quite sure that Zombieland is going to be a big scorer. Last weekend I watched the movie and I found it so interesting. Zombieland is directed by Ruben Fleischer and starring Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin. Zombieland adventure is about to stay alive in a dangerous land where humans are less in number and the flesh-eating undead rule.

Another reason of movie success is the fantastic performance of the actors. Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson and Abigail Breslin all have performed overwhelming and that make situation more acceptable. Biggest strength lies in the cast of the film and the best thing about the movie is that when there is any scary scene, at the same time it was balanced by a gleeful mirth. Cut the long story into short Zombieland would take the place of masterpiece in its genre.
